Last Wednesday I read the book Nature’s Children Great Blue Herons but I didn’t get to finsh it. I learned that if you go to a swamp or pond quit enough you might see a great blue heron! My favorite part of the book was when they said if a great blue heron is away from its nest for too long the babies might fall out! This book reminds me of when I went to the African Lion Safari they had an awesome bird show there and one lucky person got a bird to go on his finger, he was very lucky.
