The book we read in class was the Giving Tree it was about a boy who loved the tree when he was young,but as he got older he visited the tree not as often.He came back one day asking a tree for a house but the tree had no house so the boy cut the trees branches off and left. He came back one day wanting a boat but the tree had no boat so the boy cut down the trunk and left. He came back one day wanting a place to sit and rest and the trees stump was the perfect spot.
